Does Acupuncture hurt?
Not really, the needle is extremely fine without a hollow center. The sensation is ten time less than what is received with piecing or tattoos.
How does acupuncture work?
Acupuncture improves the blood flow and enhances endorphin levels which activates your healing process.
Is Acupuncture covered by insurance?
Acupuncture treatment is covered by most health insurances except Medicare and L & I.
How often do I need the treatment?
A minimum of 4 weeks is usually required to re-educate your nerve system and critical to success. To reach maximum benefit, you will need at least two to three treatments every week over the course of four weeks. Based on the results of periodic re-evaluation we will determine and adjust your treatment plan. Eventually, your treatment will move into the maintenance phase and stabilize your health condition.
